With the primitives, I used different modifiers for the sphere I used an editable poly and extruded my nose, eyes, and mouth. For the cone, I just used the mirror tool to see how it would work the pyramid is on a polygon selection with an edit poly I simply selected the bottoms separately and extruded them out to be like a stand for the pyramid. When I used the teapot I wanted to know what the dent tool was so I converted to an editable poly to transform it to look like an old dented up teapot and lastly, I used the torus and converted to an editable poly vertex and added a smooth from the modifier list. My second modifier I created an android robot firstly I used a capsule and then I converted it into an editable poly and used vertex and selected the third row from the top and moved em upward and did the same to the bottom but moved it down after that I select the top and bottom and put caps on them because I removed part of the capsule that was already there I also used quick slice to create the head. after that I had to detach the head from the body and add a mesh smooth, with vertex and edge to make the neck area look more bent in. then I went in into the slate material editor and used two default standards for my robot. All of that I duplicated all of the capsules to get create arms, legs, and antennas I also used a sphere to create the eyes.

For the past couple of days I’ve learned how to make different type of material by just using this app and have been creating things like this.
Making this like this has been an eye opener because at first I thought I wasn’t going to be able to work in 3D MAX because everything in this program is way different than photoshop, premiere pro, etc.when you first start to use this application you might be confused or like some people they stay after class to exceed more help. As you see in this picture I have had no experience with this app just have been using tutorials to help make me be successful in my classroom anyway hard work pays off. The way i created my montage was by creating my sequence first then put all my video footage in a folder to upload it to premiere pro and start picking parts of the video that i wanted to use and play them in the time line for each of them. Then i use video transitions change some of the speed on some of the videos and also threw in a reverse shot in there. it took me three days to finish this video and each video is linked up with the beat on the video with the music i used the only thing i forgot to do was to render the video but i hope you enjoy my video. When using a pen tool to draw images or anything you can think of at first its rough to started but once you really are getting the hang of it and messing around with it you can see that it has anchor points where a curve can change direction. I've listed some important details down below and added one images that have pen usage in it.
When making images you can make them intersect with each other, overlap, subtract, combine ,etc making small images shown above with a pin tool is good practice to be put in use for big activities like tracing photos by turning the original picture opacity down till your tracing is better than the original. In class we have touched bases on the differences between vector graphic and bitmap images. Vector graphics are 2D graphics they do things like shown in the bullet points below. Working with vector images to me is way easier than doing bitmap images because in adobe illustrator there is more dedication and, lots of effort put into your work the coolest thing when working with vector images is that you could save them as an (jpeg,Png,AI,etc) and you could always go back and fix any errors that was accrued during your project. But when working with vectors you have to know the basics rom other softwares like photoshop they have almost the same tools to create images but a few new ones and lots of new shortcut techniques.
This past week i've learned about how color is used in the proper way like in digital preference color is very unique in its own way my teacher showed our class this video when this lady was showing that this gray tile that was being shadowed over a trashcan was switching from grey to white. i thought it was pretty cool because i've never seen it before. but in class we also worked on RGB & CMYK colors with secondary colors. (RGB colors are basically for computer use only, CMYK is for printed things that subtract color.) we also did this activity where we had to detect other colors like.( HUE,SATURATION, & VALUE)but in the activity you had to have the perfect shading and tone of color or it wasn't right witch is called harmonization. colors also have properties with warm & cold colors, dark & light colors along with unsaturated and saturated i really think that the color theory is amazing especially in real life when the sun sets.Last week in class we touched on the subjects that had to do with the rule's like the rule of thirds witch is a 3 by 3 grid.when you put your picture in it the lines separate the picture evenly. when the picture is divided evenly you can see the main or focus point in the middle of the grid ,the art work should then pop out and show you how the rule of thirds work.
The reason why i like contrast is because it stands out like me contrast isn't original its unique, there could be this old boring picture of this tree that will have everyone look over it to go look a this beautiful piece of art work that has and object in the middle but the background there is light colors to bring out the image of the object making the picture more viewable. like for an example i could go to the beach and wait for the sun set and stand their watching it while someone takes my picture when you look at your picture it should be you as the center focus and the background should have all these light beautiful colors, i've heard that human eyes like contrast it draws the person eyes into the design of the art that is made from that simple task.
3D sculpting is used for high tech modeling like in those kid movies where the characters are made of clay they use this technique because simple and more easier for them to work on all the details. One example i can give is one of my childhood favorite is chicken run because of how good the quality and how the movements of the characters were so realistic. but in all reality behind the scene they have to movie all the body parts on the clay every time shoot a scene they also use this for video games,CGI in film, photorealistic illustrations , my experience with this is last year i had to do this project witch i had to move this action figure to make it look like it was throwing something to knock another action figure out witch took a lot of heart and dedication.
I'm typing this blog post prier to my interest in the history of the first recognizable video game made by William Higinbotham (October 25, 1910-November 10, 1994). William created the first computer video game to show motion and to allow you to engage with handheld controllers tennis for two was the first sports game that was developed in 1958.after that willy was at the lab where he began to use the game for their visitors day to allow technology to have good PR. At this time Mr. higinbotham was upgrading the game and made it have an larger screen around this time he was getting recognized more and in 1976 he was involved in a lawsuit with magnavox but, before all of that he was an physicist that helped develop the first nuclear bomb.
